    Decanting

Is there a formula to calc decanting fill pressures ???
Not mixing purely decanting, I know there would be variables ie temperature and bottle sizes.
If a 12 ltr were filled to 230bar and I wanted to decant into a 3ltr at a fixed ambient temp of 20C lets say the 3ltr already had 100 bar and I wanted to top up to max 230 bar or nearest obtainable.
Each fill will be reduced I know but can it be calculated or shown on a graph?
Its already been a long day so no lectures on doing a gas mixing course etc
    PLEASE just helpfull hints.
    Cheers all knowing ones

    (12x230)+(3x100) / (12+3) = 204

    230x12
    3x100
    =3060 lts .

    divide by 15

    = 204 bar.
    less is more.

Am I right in thinking that the 204 bar is the remaining gas in the 12ltr?
If so again a 3ltr with 100 bar remaining
    204 x 12 =2448 ltr
    3 x 100 = 300 ltr
    total 2748 divided by 15
    183 bar remaining in 12ltr ?

if they are both attached to the whip then they will both be at the same pressure.
