| EuroTek 2008 - What a cracking weekend! Lying here nursing a hangover before the presentations start soon, I thought I would say a quick thank you to Leigh, Carl & Roz for putting together a brilliant dinner last night. Much hilarity from the small tech diving community. More to follow later. Well done.

| I was there yesterday for the talks, they were superb. Excellent event. |

| Agreed, talks were very good. I especially enjoyed Dr. Simon Mitchell - very informative and interesting, not to mention the coke bottle! I was surprised to see such a poor turnout for Richie Kohler's Titanic presentation though. He's definately on a mission. Most definately worth the £22.50 and I understand it was a conference not a show, but I would have spent money with Silent Planet, AP Diving and Fouth Element if they had been doing retail and not just exhibiting. Of course Mr. Perrin was only too happy to relieve me of some hard earned (oh and a booster from Divetch!) All in all EXCELLENT! EDIT: Good to see AM at the Narked@90 stand, did she go to Martin Parker's presentation on rebreather incidents today? (Coat on and running like fcuk) Last edited by Hobbsy : 16-11-08 at 06:00 PM. |

| Dan Reynolds What did people think of the CCR in a suitcase, with the new adv design, adds as you go down, but doesn't add with a negative pressure only adds on the way down? - aka Dan Reynolds The Vandergraph talk was good. And the other bits I saw were great. Plus a lot to look forward to from IANTD in the near future :') Hope those that collected their iDives enjoy them It was good to put names to faces today. | Was an excellent weekend. The only downside was that I couldn't see all of the presentations that I wanted to! Well done to Leigh, Carl, Roz and all of their many helpers. Role on 2010 And I've gotten home without a single red sea holiday brochure. dan |

| A superb weekend and a real labour of love for Carl, Leigh and Ros who looked justly proud Highlights: Simon Mitchell was engaging and funny and has a knack for making complex subjects interesting and easy to understand for the layman. The New Zealand Navy, Penguins and Deepheat on condoms - superb - what a class act "Do you have any footage of you penetrating The Lesbian...." Richie winning the Fundamentals course plus many more Would have been nice to have a little more time between the presentations perhaps?

| Best "dive show" I've been to in a very long time. Dr Simon Mitchell is a fantastic speaker with a knack for explaining medical information to non medics yet also keeping the medics engaged. Eduardo Pavia and Danny Hayge's HMS Victoria footage was superb. It was a great shame that Martin Parker couldn't make it in the end as I'm sure many were looking forward to his presentation (let alone concern for the implications of the events that kept him away). I'm dissapointed I missed the evening do but the 13 hour sleep (having just finished 7x12 hour night shifts in A&E) was worth it. I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to the next one. (p.s. well done Andy on the penetrating the lesbian question and I agree the fundies course going to Rich S was most entertaining - I also heard a rumour that the Inspo was won by a guy just about to take Tech 1...)
