Battery Charging...

I have a Halcyon Proteus 3...whats the best way to treat the battery ?...Use and top the charge up, or Use, then let the battery go flat before re-charge.
And does this battery suffer from memory loss ?

Thanks in advance.

Pete.

Battery storage

There is a really good site here which summarises all the manufacturers' recommendations. Worth bookmarking:

The Proteus 3 has a lead-acid battery and therefore doesn't suffer from memory problems so you can 'top-up' as required. Ideally it shouldn't be stored fully discharged but the charge will deteriorate slightly the longer it's stored so you would be best charging it prior to use.

It claims to have a 2 hour burn time and I'm pretty pleased with the performance of mine.
