Proteus 3 woes

i need a little advice about my torch

don't get me wrong, its superb. However, it floowed on a dive a couple of weeks ago - the first dive. I put this down to the head not being tighte enough. anyway, I dried it all out thoroughly and it performed superbly the next week.

This weekend I fired it up briefly the night before a dive to check all was well, and it wouldn't fire. I got a brief blue spark and a little buzz and then it was ead. Refiring it led to the same result.

Stripping it down revealed that the bulb has a couple of hairline cracks running down the length. Now I know this is an obvious question, but I assume the bulb has gone and a new one is needed. could this have been caused by the flood as I have been very careful to pack it properly etc.?
