BC and Cannister light Took delivery of the Buddy Ranger TD last Thursday, used it on Friday, bloody wonderful...I´ve spent a few days playing with it, and I´m now happy everything is where it should be, except one thing...my Proteus 3 cannister light. Other than attaching it to my tank, I can´t think of anywhere else it can go. So any ideas will much appreciated...??? Pete

get one of these and cam the battery to your cylinder

Why not put a jubillee clip at the top and bottom and carry it like a stage on your right/left? Keeps it out of the way under your arm, you can fit it last monute at the dive site so no worries about it getting knackered, and easy to remove in the event of a problem. That said, if it's a dinky battery it's going to need a fair bit of slack on the clips, but you could do it. I've been toying with doing similar with an argon bottle I've been playing with, but that's all gone out the window now, everything's getting moved about again...

Thanks guys, three answers and three choices...I do like that shiny little pony clamp, then when I do get a pony, I can side sling that, and put the cannister on the tank...play time me thinks...thanks again... Pete

Mount it low and upside down so you can reach your on off switch on the can. Angle the can so the on /off movement is front to back because I found side to side imposable in 5mm gloves. I don’t know the Buddy ranger but some BCs have small loops or mini D rings on the inside adjacent to where the back plate would be. If so you can also use these. I do this for single tank, as I can’t reach the torch easily when it’s clamped to a single. I cable tie a small suicide clip to the top of the torch and mount a bungee on the loop above on the back plate. Just clip on at the bottom and keep in place with the bungee ATB Mark Chase
