UK D8 Sunlight

I've a UK d8 torch, and on the last couple of dives it's taken to cutting out. It will restart again after about 5mins, cut out 3 times on a 55min dive yesterday. I'm not sure if it's the switch, or possinbly bulb overheating, but if that was the case wouldn't the bulb just blow.

Has anyone experienced anything similar, any suggestions to possible solution?

I've had similar on D8R, it was fixed in the shop though, I believe some screw in the contact plate needed tightening but unfortunately didn't see what the guy did.

I had to take it back for the switch just after I bought it too. Good torch when it works!

Ive got a UKD8R. The problem is on the back of the reflector where the springs are. Each spring has a small screw. Tighten them up and the problem will be solved
