uk d8r battery charging
can someone remind me ,how long does it take to charge from flat,not used it for 5 months,so I thought I'd better give it a charge then run down tto keep it "alive",as I've heard that if you leave it a while,it dies.

I think is something between 6-8hours. Apparently until it gets 'warm' but then after 8 hours never found it warm.

I charge mine for 16 from flat, or top up with 12 or so if still got some charge.
Not saying that's as per manual but works for me...

cheers folks,I've given it 6 hrs so far,and it's starting to feel slightly warm,so I'll give it another 3-4 hrs,and see how long it takes for a discharge

if you know the Ah of the battery and the putput of the charger it can be calculated.
