Money to spend.........
But not that much!!!!

We are looking at purchasing a new lamp, one to replace the SL6 that SWMBO uses.

Looking at an LED version that would be suitable to take on trips over the water, therefore it can't be too large or heavy.

Any thoughts appreciated.

How about the latest FA-Mi..?
FA-Mi have got a really natty 3 LED torch that runs on 4 x AA batteries which provides 8 hrs burn time.

The output is 40W, and it gives a really cold blue light. Absolutely brilliant, light weight and about 7" long ish.

Cost is about £160ish.

I use an SL4 as a back up in the UK and for night dives abroad, seems to fit the bill and is comparatively good compared to the usual dive centre torches they issue? AND THEY ARE CHEAP AS CHIPS.

If it makes things easier geography wise, I am at the Cove frequently, and this is the same torch. More than happy to extend the same offer, if logistics with Dave are not tenable.
