| I'm yet to be convinced on how well the beam penetrates on LED torchs. Don't get me wrong, I've got two FAMI torches and think they are great but not seen LED to touch them yet. But LED technology has come quite some way so be interesting to see JB's review. Daz

| The Halcyon 10w is a bit better than the Fa & Mi (power LED 4) - it has a better, tighter hotspot, and beam penetration is a bit better. But then it should be better for the price difference. However, I'm very pleased with the Fa & Mi. And you can hand mount it without worrying about an umbilical cable. Which is nice. On the basis of my torch, I'd expect the one Andy is talking about to be better than the Halcyon 10w.
