I found mine ina mates garden, and it has done me fine ever since!

I use PC lites from Ikelite on mine, but I can see LED's would work very well doing the same job. UE had some LEDs which were pretty bright and cheapish. Quite a few people I know use them as backups, and would work on a helmet.

We're really tight- just cut down a couple of builder's hard hats, £2.69 -SCREWFIX (but ours were cheaper than that ) ripped the innards out and glued a velcro patch in with the opposite patch glued to hood.

Drill as many holes as you like. Fit a bit of a chinstrap... if it does the job...think I've been using mine about 10 years now
