Mounting a Greenforce torch?

How to mount the torch?

Paging Mr Commie, will a Mr Commie please attend this thread.

Whilst we await him, can anyone suggest how to best mount a greenforce F3 battery pack. Dunno if its too big for the waistband or how to secure it there, or whether it would be better on the tanks etc?

Did I mention I ordered the 30W HID (100W equivelent) impact head with it. 3 .5 hours of burn time, mmmmmmm

drool.

F3

That is one big battery. I have the F2 battery and it is plenty enough for me. As I recall an F3 battery combined with the HID head makes a torch over two foot long.

I strap my battery to my cylinders with a cam band. Keeps it interchangeable depending on the system I am diving

Is your light head the one where the beam can be wide or narrow? (Like mine )

When I read the title of this thread, I had visions of something quite unpleasant.

I think GF do a mounting bracket for the Arrow, perhaps they do something similar for the F3?

I got the F4 and i find the best thing is use a G-Snap and Jube clips to put it on the side of the tanks, I personally think the F3 and F4 are too bulky too mount anywhere else.

Do occasionally dive with it as a hand held with 2 HID heads's for a laugh though.
