Exclamation Halogen bulb alternatives

I have just found a supplier for LED based replacements for halogen bulbs. I am just trying out the 12 LED MR11 equivalent in my CD umbilical.

Not bright by any stretch, but a viable low power, robust, long life and long run time alternative to when you don't really need a light sabre. Cost was about £8.

Not tested underwater yet, and it's always possible that it just won't be bright enough for real world work, but at that price I thought it was worth a try.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I will try to get some pictures (perhaps even some quantative comparisons of LED v halogen
