Interesting. My seems to be slightly negative - just about right. It's clipped to a D-ring on my BCD and has a curly retainer on it. Easy to unclip when needed. I found it got in the way clipped on to my wrist.

| Mine is about neutral, just to be awkward! if you have the pistol grip handle, you could try filling that with lead shot and caping the end with silicone or epoxy, a small (1/16") hole in the pistol grip will take care of trapped air issues. keeps the interior virgin and leaves space for the wad of cardboard under the battery because the springs are going soft.

I had exactly the same problem with mine. Let it go and it was up round me lug somewhere. As others have suggested, I added a few ounces of lead: packed in the hollow of the handle and a wee slab in the groove bit on the top, all nicely secured with gaffer tape. Sorted! almost neutral now.

Thanks for all the responses - I shall test it out with additonal lead this weekend. Cheers, Ant

I had the same problem with mine - kept coming up and whacking me in the dish. Just out of interest anyone have the problem with the switch mechanism undoing itself? I had a recurring problem that it would work on the surface but then if I switched to the other bulb and back again it wouldn't work. I had to open it up and tighten the screw every time. I know a few other folk with this same problem. I did eventually come up with a permanent solution to both the above problems - I bought a Halcyon HID! Cheers! Dave

I have put a short line on mine and clip it to a D ring on my right chest harness, net effect you con hold the torch easily but when you dont need it pus it under your arm and it remains behind you out of the way behind your shoulder...
