Flooded JMD torch Help!!!!

Hi my torch flooded over the weekend and is only 4 weeks old does anyone know were i stand. I bought it with a Visa card and want to know my facts before i go into the shop today. I think it has flooded through the charging point so would like to know if they can blame me at all as i know i tightened it up sufficiently. Thanks in advance.

Ivon.

if it has been under water a few times i would guess it is a user error, but i am sure they will check it and if it turns out to be their fault i am sure you would get it sorted to your satisfaction.

I think it's dependent on your card provider, but some cover accidental damage for 90 days after purchase. I know mine does (Co-Op Platinum). Check with your card provider.

mark.

Ivon,
I haven't delt with consumer credit for a while (read 8 years)
but AFAIK if you paid with a VISA credit card (debit cards are a completely diferent kettle of fish) and the Item was over £100 you get a few benefits (you certainly used to get 1 years insurance). It's well worth checking with VISA customer services.
