| IIRC They are ludicrously expensive, you could try www.strikalite.co.uk - who might be able to make a new pack for less that you can buy from UK. Dom

| I bought a replacement D4 battery from diverswarehouse yesterday, they are £47.00 !! Its just a thought, but the way they are constructed, are you sure that there isn't any water trapped in the pack causing a short? It might be worth making a couple of holes in the flexable side bits, rinsing it, and trying it again, if its knackered, you won't have lost anything. |

| You can make your own D4 battery pack for £25 from strikalite if you order the D cell batteries and solder them yourself. Far cheaper than the quoted price for one. (Cut the old one open and you'll find 4 batteries just soldered, nothing technical). They also have higher capacity batteries there so for a bit more money you can make a longer burn time torch. |

| Interesting, I've just bought a lightcannon but it is the non-rechargable version. I know it uses the same battery pack as the C8R - what would I need to order to put together a rechargeable pack - or is purchase a better option |
