| Thanks Timbobaggins, I thought that was a great idea. I went to www.divetorch.co.uk as you sugested, they suggested a cheaper option of two new Beaver Plasma LED torches giving 2 x 40 watts with up to 4 1/2 hours burn. Bulbs are not as easy to replace but bulb life is supposed to be much longer than halogens. They also connected them together at 180 degrees through the handles using two SS bolts and wing nuts. I can hold them easily in one hand and can even take them apart underwater if necessary - not that I would lend one to my buddy!! Cost was £269 which I know is quite a lot, but the new 75 watt LED was £295, so I guess I'm better off??? Thanks again, Bill ![]() |
