| HID = High Intensity Discharge it is a type of bulb, very good torches,bulbs are expensive and fragile though. I use a FaMi umbilical LED torch,not cheap either but with 6 hours+ burn time and robust LEDs I am happy with it. hope this helps. Giles

| HID lighting HID provides superb lighting in the water. As my preferred alternative to Fami and Salvo take a look here. GreenForce - Divelights If in doubt give Mssrs Lumb a call using their web site below My Company Online Catalogue GreenForce (like Salvo as they use exactly the same HID bulbs) are very very robust lighting systems. I also have the GF LED system. It is nice but the HID is wow! |
