Marius Clore - sounds like something out of Harry Potter
The best colour temp is on the Salvo 18w lights IMHO

Best colour for what?

I have to admit to preferring a slightly yellower light - it doesn't "white out" the detail of what you are looking at as much.

The 18w seems to have the whitest "clearest" light which for signalling is very visible: ie it cuts through the murk. Shows up the colours best when you're looking at the squidge too (if you must )

best analisis of HID lighting ?

We supplied Marius with a SOLUS SU-500 for that test. Although he did ask permission to use some of the information from our website I was surprised that he didn't bother changing it much. Parts of it almost read verbatim from our research.

Still it was intereresting to get his personal perspective on the range of HID stuff out there - even if it was a bit biased.

Although he wasn't too keen on including the 2M drop test I suggested.

I would rate my Halcyon 18W rust-bucket as the worst single piece of diving equipment I've ever bought and the after sales service as "So what?" at best. Wish I'd bought the MetalSub or Greenforce instead.

I've found my green force to be excelent and that has passed the 2m drop test. Infact it's passed the 4m drop test numerous times!
