That's the point - they are only £395 brand spanking squeaky new! And the non-focussable are £345...

Good point, strobe or not, the beam size can be used creatively.

Thumbs up I seam to remember

a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there was a diver forum which consisted of some old worthy jedi divers one who in particular had a thing about being blinded by these high powerd light sources and indeed even the little flashy strobe things where offencive. now I know my spelling aint great but my memory is.
Oh look fi if you want it buy it if you cant afford it bang it on the plastic. Lou

Now be careful you may not be comparing like with like

I think the ones you're referring to are SLA batteries not NiMH. Not that that makes a huge difference.

Fiona, the issue with LED's is that right now they cant get the focus in order to throw the light a good distance through the water. They are getting better but according to an "expert" source of mine, they will be a good 2-3 years off getting it cracked.

We get s/h Salvos in from time to time now, if you want drop me a line and we can see what can do if you're interested ?

HTH a bit.

Yes Lou is, I was watching a 10w Halcyon and new they are £395, the SH one on eBay went for £337 I dropped out at £280.

I would be interested in a SH one but I really am limited to £300, £350 at the outside.

I know of a Speleo for sale but don't know anything about them.

Do not tell me about anything more that that.
