Just had a play with a Brightstar Darkbuster 21W HID.

Wow. About £250, though, but the most bang for your buck you can get in a torch.

Dont get a UK c8R battery pack is crap and has to be removed to charge, its a nice light but the battery pack is crap. The batteries 'just' fit inside the body they are crap, didi I mention that.

If its the same light as Tom's its very good, brighter that a UK C8R (even on the brightest setting of 2). I hate him.

edit - doesnt look like it is, ask Tom what he has, I looked but looked away as it was tempting me too much.

I've got the 40W version, Fiona's is the 50W and a bit better.
