Scubapro Module lamp

Anyone used a Scubapro module lamp?

I'm looking at a Greenforce Hid 100 impact & F3 batt & it was suggested I look at the Scubapro lamp.

Comments (about the lamps!) appreciated.

If it's the umbilical one that can also be used as a hand held, I had a look at one the other day and they do look rather good, the head that I looked at was the 3 led one and it gave off a good amount of light (although it was daylight at the time )

They are on the pricey side, apparently they are made by greenforce but to Scubapro specs. imho I would go for the greenforce as they are slightly cheaper.

Ive got the very same green force, lots of light and the head has survived two large impacts with no ill affects so I can also vouch for how strong the lamps are.

The only thing is the head is very large.

Ive not seen the Scuba pro, Mark Chase posted a really good HID torch guide a month or so ago, make sure that you get the lamp thats listed there, it stated the manufacturer of the most resiliant hid bulbs at £155.00 a go it will be worth it.
( Salvo 21W use the said lamp)

I have the F2 / 100w HID and can vouch for the fact that these HID bulbs must be quite robust as mine has been clattered a couple of times. I also agree that the head is quite large but its a small price to pay for the ridiclous beam that comes from it. Also consider Solus as my buddy has just got one and they are the dogs danglies!

Just seen the Scubypro version in my LDS, and they look v good. However having used GF F2 and HID 100, and LED heads, for a few years now these are the dogs bits and pieces.
