Angry head lamp
on a post earlier this week i asked about head lamps.
well i would like to thanks fiona for letting me know that the ones on ebay are not for diving.
a mate bought one and he tryed the thing out in 5m of water at blue lagoon near the A1, and it leaked (badly) so cheers for that dudes and the prat who sells them should be told to remove them from scuba section.

Don't worry I also bought one a couple of years ago, although to be fair to the guy selling them, he doesn't actually mention they are waterproof.

Also they are bloody heavy, mine's in the boot of the car in case I need a torch.

They sell a lightweight plastic model at Wilkinsons which states on it "Mini Diving Head Lamp" can't remember the depth rating but think its about 30M, surfice to say it leaked like a good un at only 12M
