It's not bad, as supplied there are 2 bulbs, 12W spot and 20W flood. They are good enough. They don't compare with HID's but for a halogen it's okay.

If I'm honest given the same choice again, I'd probably not buy it. That's probably more to do with problems I've had with the torch (Flooded battery pack, Flooded Head, Connectors failing) and having to send it back to the US (No UK importer at the time) than any lack of functionality in the torch.
