| What rechargable batteries did you buy incidently, Someone said you have to be careful of the nipples on the batteries and not making a good connection. I've just bought a 2nd-hand one and am after some rechargables. Dan |

| If anyone is in the market for a not-stupid-price HID torch then you could do a lot worse then the on Missus Janos has. It's f'in fantastic. . Missus Janos is on the left and it's a Kowalski on the right. It's a 21W Brightstar bulb (same as the Salvo) and a 4.5 NiMh battery. Which is the same as my Salvo so I had a bulb upgrade. I didn't get mine from Woz but I know he was talking about doing an import deal if enough people were interested. I think it would have worked out at around the £220 mark. Janos

NiMH C Rechargeable Batteries Up To 4500mAh I bought the 4500 Ansmann ones and they last for hours - more than you'll need all day. I also bought the Energy 8 charger - it can do 4 C cells at once and is pretty quick. Also, because they are NiMH you can re-charge them every night without worrying about 'memory effect'. PS I haven't had any nipple problems with these batteries.

Just not with fancy Delrin and it's not umbilical so it's £200 to £250 instead of £700 - £800. You pay a lot for your fancy umbilicalness. Janos
