| Without doing a search cos I'm lazy what are the benefits / weaknesses of each bulb type? am i right in thinking:LED - very bright, long burn time, but lacking distance Xenon / halogen - ? Xenophot - Bright & cheap to replace better burn time than halogen HID - the ultimate, long burn time (due to lower wattage bulb for equivalent output), but very fragile & expensive to replace |

| Am I the only one who is happy with the UK 100 HID. Is there some reason I should think it's crap? It is a bright HID for under 200 sterling and I get 4 hours from Ni-MI batteries. |

I think people on here see and read about all these high powered/priced torches and think they need one or get "torch envy". Most will not use them to there full potential so if the torch does what you need it to then there is nothing wrong with that. |
