well, this thread has got me thinking and possibly hooked on the thought of buying.... Should I try the Solus before buying; or try/compare against the salvo?

How should I go about this??

Incedently, I'm in Dublin next Friday/Saturday... oh and have a liveaboard out of Oban for a long weeknd 23rd Feb...

Bearing in mind I do offer a one month return policy so you could return the Solus if unhappy with it up to one month after purchase even if used for a full refund.

I will be around next Friday and Saturday if you are here in Dublin.

Frankly M8 if you have read this thread taken it in and your still unhappy with the torch, Ill buy you lunch.

Its epic and puts brick shit houses to shame. Its just different form a HID in the way it delivers its performance.

Eh, I had quite a chat with the guys from Solus when they were taking advanced orders for the first production run of the 500 a few years back. I was impressed then but didn'y have the balls to jum p ion then. The 1000 clearly looks awsome, however the price (as with the Salvos) doesn't....

However, my cheque book and pen is now ready..... sooo, where you taking me for lunch??
