| One of the common approaches is to mount it on the waist band on the right hand side but with your stage mounting preference that probably wouldn't work so well for you. I suppose you could mount it on the left side just as easily. Some people choose to mount it on their tanks. HTH Mal |

| Cannister on right hip, head clipped off to a chest 'D' ring in a sort of DIR stylee.

| Hi, everyone I know mounts their cannister light like this - ![]() There should be a loop of webbing held by two jubilee clips on the cannister. You pass your harness waist strap through there then hold the cannister in position with a weight belt buckle. The reason it is on the right is because my stages all go on the left and it is used to secure my long hose which runs down the right side of my twinset. Hope that helps, Mark. Mark Thanks but I tried that set up and my stage gets in the way. With my last light I fixed it to the LHS stage ring of my harness with a bolt snap but that was way from perfect. What I think I need is a small pony clamp type thing. Added-I like the DIR set up (very tidy) but it dose not work for me. Last edited by Ricky2703 : 24-01-07 at 11:45 PM. |

pull the canister right in tight behind the backplate if you loop it on right, it means you can undo it and remove the canister without removing the wing, for when getting gas, etc

| I mount the battery cannister on the right hand side of my cylinders (stage on left) using a kent tooling pony bracket and have the head clipped off my right chest D-ring. HTH, Si
