*tut* Isn't it obvious??

;)

I finally got my DIY torch upgraded. It's no longer got a lid held in place by friction that requires a hydraulic lifter to get open, and the bulb unit is no longer handheld, but mounted Goodman-like on the back of the hand.

Sadly I can't test it in the pool this week due to injuries, but if I COULD, it'd be a lot better than it was

Is that a torch or a motorbike..?

It cost around £100... the full guide to building it will be on the web in another day or so..

A torch - I wouldn't be interested in a 450!

On my web page - I'll stick up a link once it's uploaded.

The big plus of this torch is that it can be made out of stuff available for any DIY shop - no huge O-rings or marine-grade steel fittings anywhere. I haven't tried the modified version yet, but the original incarnation didn't leak.
