Red face femi spot light advice please

hi looking for some advice. my 2 pin bulb has fallen out of it fitting of my femi spotlite. followed the instruction to replace. ie remove the lens ring and glass and replace the bulb etc. the problem is that the lens ring is solid and will not budge even with a hefty pairs of pliers. any advice and comments would be appreciated

You could try soaking it in very hot soapy water, it may move then.
