Sorry to hi-jack this thread
Finally received my torch charger,
couldn't bring myself to use a midget light with this monster hanging off me
works fine although the plug is american.
Wasn't expecting a snazzy green colour , it's all good!
There must be a corner of some Royal Mail depot full of chargers, probably with an angry chav curled up on top with white lightning dripping out of it's nose and a healthy income on ebay given the current state of our national 'post' service

heya,
this is probably something which has been covered (but that i can't find) or just something that i'm being a numpty over, but why do the mini back-ups use CR123s rather than just c-cells?? i'm guessing it's something to do with the loading?????

hope this question isn't too numpty-ish

Dave, it's all a question of size

The smaller CR123's allow the light to be smaller.
