Trektite Trek 4 - Broken?

Hi guys,

Just got my grubby hands on one of these from a recommended LDS.

The packaging said there is a "handy wrist strap" - it wasnt in there. And when I put the supplied batteries in the torch nothing happened. I gave it a shake and the batteries seemed to move around quite a bit inside the chassis.

I double checked and there didnt appear to be a spring in the bottom chassis. I assume there should be one there as all my over twist and go torches have one.

I cant be arsed to send it back if all I need to do is pop a spring in the bottom of the torch. Can anyone confirm if there should be one in there?

hmmmm... Maybe I've been sent a previously returned product?

Ta

Stuart

Sounds like a baddun. The bottom spring should be connected to a strip running up the inside of the torch.

Cheers Woz, looks like I'll be posting it back then.

Not happy really because the packaging was well knocked about and it would seem an important ingredient is missing. Hopefully just a one of as this outfit have been throughly recommended by plenty of folks from this board.

I'll get in touch with them later.
