UK D4 Bulb Help.....
I have just bought the UK D4 torch. Not the rechargable one, just the plain old regular one that comes with two 5.4w bulbs.

If i had paid an extra £60 i could have got the rechargable pack which also comes with a 5.4w bulb AND an 18w bulb.

Here's my question... Can i get a spare 18w bulb and put it in my torch with it being a regular torch or is there something stopping me from doing this?

It sounds very straight forward but i'm sure i must have missed something.....

Any ideas?

Battery drain. Will probably give you a very short battery life.

From memory (when I looked into this) The rechargables are cabable of delivering more current which is why they could run the 18w the disposible batteries can't deliver. However, Aldi were doing NiMh batteries for abot £4 a pair not so long ago
