UK light canon flickering????
Ive got a UK light canon and it has become a bit unpredictable. It can turn on and off numerous times with no fault and then wont turn on at all unless you give it a little shake. Now im fairly certain that this indicates a loose connection or something, however I have checked and all semms fine and i dont want to really fcuk it up by having a go myself. What would you recomend I do (apart from stick it on ebay), who would be the best to identify the problem?

I only get the flickering you describe when my batteries are getting low. I also used to get the problem where it wouldn't turn on without a little tap, it seems very fussy with batteries, Duracell seem to give the least problems. I got so pissed off with it that i bought some tagged rechargeables and sat down last weekend with my soldering iron to make a nice wired pack for it. Seemed to do the job nicely as on the Scylla and JEL on Friday it performed perfectly.
