<font color='#000080'>OK, I've managed to get a decent head for my DIY torch, but I've go more umbilical cable than I need, so what I really want to know is how long is sensible for a cable? We're talking cannister to the back of the head, which is pretty small, and I'm going to have it on my harness for the meantime, maybe move it around at a later date, but probably not.

So, how long is the cable on which torches? I find the Greenforce cable is a bit long for my needs, what about the halcyon and similar, as they are designed to go on the harness.

Thanks.

Digger

If you wear it on your harness (right hip) then hold it in the left hand and fully extend your arm... that's the length you want

<font color='#000080'>I was going to do something like, just wondered as I've not set the cannister up yet whether there was an easy standard length for it.

The greenforce is too long for the job I find, even with it at the side of my tank if it comes under my arm it goes all over the place.

Thanks guys.
