hi folks
want to pick a few brains, this sunday whilst kitting up,I found that my torch ( uk d8r ) had been accidentaly turned on in my bag, resulting in the lens/cap had melted and warped, could've been worse,as nothing else was damaged.Anybody know the best place for a replacement for the lens/cap,or would i be best to go direct to the manufacturer.
                       cheers
                               Fraser
by the way it was stallion rock/loch fyne this weekend, good fun, hundreds of dog fish all curled up together!!

If its a UK dealer the dive shop were you purchased the torch, should be able to source you a replacement lens cap etc. NOTE some shops sell the torches but can't get the parts as they are not authorised dealers. The UK  range of torches have a pretty extensive parts list. The shop probably won't have it in stock,I ordered a lens and bezel similar item about £10 took about a week to arrive.
Follow this link and you'll see a list of parts I think the lens and cover may be one unitUKD8 Parts
Also i've ordered  some UK spares from Go- Dive, excellent mail order service, may be worth giving them a call if you have problems sourcing bits localls.

Hope this helps
