Attachment series UN you WILL find at a half way competant engineers merchants. If you can find british cycle thread ANYWHERE it will cost a bloody fortune. Cyle threads exist NOWHERE outside of bikes, old ones at that!

/32 nds were never popular in UK imperial standards, we went for /16 and /64, the Yanks tend to use /32. Just to confuse things further you also have the alternative decimal imperial standard.

SI Metric makes life much easier, just dont get me started on those imaginary cm`s.

Bnc thread :-) can you guess my brain is wired a little wrong :-)

as for Cameras being Whit I an not so sure anymore they used to be 1/4 or 3/8 wit but 3/8 seem to vanish, now as 1/4 whit and 1/4 unc are so similar, it is a little unclear how they are made Now. I have been told 100% they are both so I give up both fit same :-)

Me. The winner will be the person who can come up with the phrase I need to say down a phone line to ensure that a replacement screw pops through my door.

I'll give you a clue: The phrase starts: "I'd like a..." and finishes in "...screw" (and yes there are words in between).

Janos

PS - I'll warn you now - I'll red anyone who comes up with any smut.

Surley with the internet you drop Salvo in America a E-mail and say that you've lost one and hey presto 10 turn up in the post.

I allways find that if you spend shit loads on something then customer service will be supurb.

Then get some thread lock on the little bugger for next time.

Perhaps that Phill will have some spare ? you never know.

Am I missing something here

I am not really familiar with the Goodmans for a Salvo, doesit looks anything like the one below?

http://www.yorkshire-divers.com/foru...rch-handle.jpg

If the missing bolt / screw is some sort of oddball obscurity from 1940, would it not be easier to just drill is out & tap in a metric size, maybe 5 mm.

Then when you loose the netx bolt you can pm me your address & I can send you a selection of S/S replacements.
