UK distributor has stopped flogging them as Brightstar would deal with anyone with a credit card and didn't honour their distribution agreement.

Aquatron in Glasgow 0141 429 7575 bought all the remaining stock (100 or so) so would be your best bet for one of these with decent after-sales.

(Looking at replacing my D8R since it tried to burn my house down and stuck between UK light cannon and this for a decision).
String - Buy the Darkbuster from the dealer Woz mentions. I have both. DB wins hands down.

The seller on ebay is called pcbuyit. Their website where you can also buy them is PcBuyIt.

I got one from this guy and a case for it and got exceptional service. I was assured they were a brand new batch and had only recently been imported.

I see scan are also selling them, though at a higher price. Scan Computers UK

At the price pcbuyit is selling these on ebay I don't understand why they aren't flying out the door. It's a cracking torch, it's like having the sun in your hands!

hi there,
I got one myself from pcbuyit today.Swithered on getting the case,is it worth the money?,how long did you do the first charge for?,how much water time did you get?,and how long did it take to subsequently charge?.It's certainly bright!!
cheers,
Fraser.

The case is ok, not great. I had an issue with it in that it's easy to lock yourself out with the combination locks. They don't work very well and I managed to lock myself out of both!! 999 x 2 combinations later and I was back in!

Also you have to take the handle off the torch to get it in the case. Bit of a pain. But it should keep it from getting trashed.

I just charged it till the light went off on the charger. Didn't see anything in the manual about first charge so that seemed sensible.

I haven't actually used it in the water yet! Going to try it out in Stoney later this month I hope.

I just ordered one from the guys in scotland, bit more expensive than the eBay guy (0nly another £15) but I figure I know where they are if something goes wrong in the water with it week after next.
