goodmans handle for 10w salvo

I recently bought myself a 10W salvo umbilical & very nice it is too

the only downside is that it - the fixed focus one - comes with a fabric goodmans handle

rather than a proper metal one like on the focussable ones:

anyone know where I can get a proper metal one?

kent tooling or if its an actual salvo one you want and not a third party one, then ask Phil, pretty sure he could source you one.

Davie.

Some pics of the one I have....

You can adjust the distance between the top and bottom by nuts etc on the side.

You attach your light head with cable ties or some such other through the holes in the top. If you look closely at a larger image of the first thumbnail you can see four holes - these are the ones the cable ties go through, a bit of neoprene or something between the cable ties and the torch head and bobs your uncle. This is how I used it until I decided that I was better suited to the elasticy goodman grip, which I use now. My torch was also the unfocussable like yours.

If you're interested pm me.

Ciao

That Salvo looks very similar to my Diverite MR11, in which case the Goodman handle from here might be the very thing;

Just contact Phil at Knackers - they do sell the metal goodman handle separately...

the thing is with the fixed focus 10W is that it doesn't have anything to bolt on to:

so I don't think the KT handle is going to work

I'll try Phill, but the handle he has is bolt-on too:
