The trouble is that with new high-efficiency bulbs and ultra compact high power batteries a bright, very long burn torch is getting smaller and smaller.

How can we techies ever maintain our street cred with a hand held?

Thanks for the thoughts lads, so the best thing to do is keep the torch until absolutly necessary (saving in the meantime for EPIC).

P.S. Roger, tested my torch beside the solus and well, we'll see this week- end...
