Light Cannon, any good ?

Hi, was looking opinions on the Light Cannon. Are they a good lamp?
I'm on holiday at the moment and can get one for £140 but I don't know a lot about them.
I know they are bright but that's about it. It loks like a good lamp but I don't want to buy a
dog even at a good price so any thoughts would be appreciated

I have had mine for about 6 years now and the only time it has let me down is when i haven't charged it and the battery decided it wasn't playing out.
It has been thrown in the dive bag and carted around, dropped a number of time and always fired up afterwards. It was £220 with a rechargeable battery at when i look back its been worth it.

I've had one for a couple of years and swear by it. Really good clean light output. Wouldn't bother with the rechargable version - I believe it takes about 16 hours to charge, and the light isn't quite as bright as with batteries. Only thing I would say on the minus side is that it's a bit bulky.
