My computer test bed is built in an old Ike-lite box.

yep but looks like it is only rated to 200 feet, And I need it to go a bit deeper than that.
Its a shame the uk torches are so small as they are rated to 500 ft.

Does anyone have one of the older larger Mares or Dacor torches they could measure for me?

Why not buy an old halogen/lead acid cannister lamp like a Pro 14? They come up for sale frequently and are usually piss cheap (compared to what they were new). Remove the cable gland and plug it with a suitably sized bolt with an o-ring. I'm looking at my old AUL torch right now (sorry, no measuring tape) and the ID looks big enough. They've gone well past 500ft.

Or try Curt at dpvrepair.com, he bought out the AUL stock when they closed and may have some old cannisters going cheap.
