Realistically if you are at 35m+ (or a lot less than that this time of year) and your main torch goes off, you are knackered so to speak, cause if your back up is not up to the job then your dive is well and truly over and the old incident pit starts to rear it's ugly head. now logically you should end the dive there and then but if your back up is of the salvo 10 watt hand held type then that would give you a good light source to dive with and provide you with enough light to safely complete your dive with.

also it sounds like a good holiday torch, small light (over your main) and easy to pack.

The price may seem a bit on the steep side but if you are at any kind of depth and your main goes then i will bet that we all wish we had one.
