Attaching a metal goodman handle to a torch that wasn't designed to be put on one?

The long unimaginative title says it all really, apart from the torch has a cylindrical body with a diameter of around 3.5 cm.

Can any of you engineer-heads help?

I was hoping for suggestions for something more solid than cable ties

You could away try pipe clips or pipe retainers with some foam pads to give a postive force to stop movement.....

thanks for that. i should have mentioned that the torch isn't an umbilical, so would need a pretty robust attachment.

do have the goodman handle yet? if it has a flat base to which the torch can be mounted you could cut to rec holes in it to allow the jubblie clips to go through
