Better ? Hmmm, the light is pure white as you'd expect, the spot is very tight but maybe not quite as tight as the HiD, although I would say underwater you'd be hard pushed to see any difference.

The BIG difference is the size of the light head of course. Personally I think that will be a major benefit for a lot of people with the 12W and 21W.

As usual it all depends on the type of diving you're doing and want to do going forward, do you want an "illuminating" light or a "signalling" light or both ?

The Rebel LED is every bit as good, so Barry has decided to move with the times.

People were asking for ages for an LED that had a similar performance as HiD, well now you can have it.

The 21W LED really is every bit as good as the 21W HiD IMHO.

There'll be some people who should get theirs wet this weekend (courier willing) so will be interesting to see what "real" people have to say and not the guy who is selling them I may be biased if you hadn't guessed
