Got my new Salvo 12 Watt LED today

Yipee, got my new Salvo 12watt LED today. Fcuk me its bright. Just been playing in the garden with it now it dark. Can see right into my neighbours house accross the gardens. Makes my old torch look crap. Looking forward to comparing it to all my buddies torches (except my mates MetalSub (more like MetalSun) HID200)

Will post a report when ive had it in the water (hopefully this weekend)

First impressions are that it is very compact (particularly the battery), is built like a brick shit house and has a loverly focused beam with a nice peripheral halo. Not too sure about the soft goodman handle though and the clip which holds it on. Can see it coming off too easily and loosing the goodman handle.

A couple of tips though:

1. Dont look into the LED. Did this when I opened the box this morning and first turned it on. Took half hour before I could see properly again.

2. Dont shine it in your collegues face. He clearly stated if i did this again I was gonna get a good kicking (and he was a good 6 or 7 meters away).

I'm pretty confident that the Goodman will be fine, we haven't had any issues with them yet.
