Some of you guys really seem to think that nothing matters other than that you get your problems fixed - NOW!!!

It happens that shlt happens! Sometimes, often in fact, it happens that shlt is multiplied when it happens by at least a factor usually ascribed to the inverse proportion to infinity.

If you don't know, by now, that problems exacerbate then you should confine your diving to a less than five metre deep indoor heated swimming pool with several very alert life savers immediately standing by. Even then problems might arise.

I've just ordered a little salvo from Phill, and I know he will do everything he can to get it to me as quickly as possible.

Now if I could only trust the couriers as much....

Still, the one he uses is one of the more reliable companies.

Unless you go and pick the unit up physically, then you are reliant on many other factors.

We use DHL overnight from Central Florida to the UK within 5 days. The UK company never send things Royal Mail, ever.

The biggest issue is customs UK randomly charge excessive amounts
(couple of hundred quid) for things of a $20 value.

It's normally now a 'forgotten item' from a recent visit which so far has avoided the problems, I know commercially it's a different proposition.

Luckily High Springs is only 2/3 hours drive!

Ok, I blame the UK govement, the royal mail and George Bush for all the problems with my torch.

Salvo no longer make the really nice baby backup torch that I bought just over a year ago. Its the LED one that Phill was selling for about 27.50 or so.
Its a great bit of kit, I just chuck it in my jacket and its there if I need a backup, or if I don't take a torch down, its there should I need one.
Shame they seem to have dropped that one and the cheapest one now is about 60-70 quid.

I'm able to say that I have a Salvo though - LOL!
