I don't know - this is my first experience of ordering from DivingNikNaks and at first I didn't receive any feedback about the order for over a week and now - three weeks later - it doesn't look like I am any closer to getting my torch.

You guys know Phil which makes it easier to give him the benefit of the doubt, but as a first time consumer it feels pretty unsatisfactory. To shell out half a grand and to still be sat twiddling my thumbs...

Don't listen to me anyway - it is 00:30, I'm stuck in South Africa and I am very drunk.

Shame they seem to have dropped that one and the cheapest one now is about 60-70 quid.

I'm able to say that I have a Salvo though - LOL!
Wasn't that one a re-badged Princeton Tec Surge?

Woo Hoo!

Just to add to this thread...

I ordered the Salvo 9w hand held from Phill at 5pm on Wednesday.

It arrived this morning (Friday) at 9.30.

Thanks Phill... another very pleased customer... and how bright is that light??? OMG, made the mistake of tuning it on whilst looking at the LEDs...not a good idea! It will be perfect for the sort of diving I do...

I am a happy Ding Dang Doo!

Pete

It might be, it is a similar design to some of the Princeton Tec torches. I am sure there will be a Phill along later to confirm or deny... Nice torch though!

It was indeed a rebadged Tec.

Bloody good torch, I told Barry he was mad for stopping doing them. I'm contemplating getting them done again just for us

My Surge was great I thought...nice and bright. Then the switch snapped off while it was in my drysuit pocket. Not a brilliant piece of design..

Similar experiences here. the switch was a major design flaw.

That's quite a suprise, we sold loads of them and never had that problem reported back to us. A few had dicky bulbs ( a handful) but that was all.

Good to know though.

You could start a range of DNN products
I'll sell you the name for a new Salvo
