Salvo 12W LED and 21W LED

Has anyone got any size comparisons for the 12W and 21W Salvo's?

Also, can anyone confirm where the switch is on the 21W. I understand it's in the head in the 12W but neither Salvo nor Niknaks website is clear about the 21W.

I am debating which torch to go for at the moment and have shortlisted the Salvo 12W LED, the Solus 1250 and the Salvo 21W LED, all for different reasons!

Thanks all.

Hi,

If you mean the head size, they're the same.

The switch is in the lid on the 21W.

Thanks but I was thinking more in terms of the canister size. Main reason is I am trying to work out how easy it will be to reach a canister switch if the canister is on my backplate.
I do prefer the idea of the head-switch a-la Solus and 12W, but keep getting told to "buy the best you can afford" hence looking at the 21W.

All the sizes are on our site and Salvos but here they are anyway.

12W 5.2A - Canister is 2"(5cm)in diameter and 7.5"(19cm) in length.

21W 10.4A - 9"(22.7 cm) Length, 2.75"(7 cm) Diameter.

21W 15.6A - 10.75"(22.7 cm) Length, 2.75"(7 cm) Diameter.

Hope that helps.

Do you have the burn times for each of them on full and half power.

Cheers

Hi,

Ive got the 12 Watt LED. It only has one power setting - On.

The specification states 5 hours burn time however I only get 2.5 hours from mine so ive sent it back (again) to see whats wrong with it. Hopefully its a battery problem or something and not an incorrect spec. Also hopefully this will be the last time I send it back (as if it goes wrong again it will be going back for a full refund).
