I can meet you for a splash if you want to try the 21W HiD but I don't have an LED (yet).

If you want a variable focus and you want the most power possible then I'd say stick with HiD. The LED looks very nice, it's compact, it's variable power and it weighs a little less for travelling *but* if focus and power are your only criteria then HiD ticks the boxes. Might want to look at the the 35W or even the 50W if you really want to go crazy on the power output... I can bring one of each if you want to compare them?

Smile Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!

Go with the 12w LED!! That way I won't need to replace my HID, go for the 35W(you know this is turnip law). I think I'm needing a new lamp, another delay on my RB.

Talking 21W LED!

Took delivery of mine last week, dived with it at Vobster and NDAC over the weekend and am mightily impressed!

Lovely torch, nice warm light, lightsaber beam - ticks all the boxes.
Really nice thing is the head is neat and compact compared to the HID's.

Go for it!
