dimming an undimmable torch
i just got a new little torch and while its fine for the UK i think it might be a touch on the bright side for night dives in the tropics. I was thinking of printing something like 30% grey onto an OHT, cutting a circle out and using it as a filter inside the torch. is that sensible (its LED so shouldnt be getting hot, especially underwater) or is it likely to melt and leave a mess everywhere.

any other ideas as to how dim it a little?
